Christina’s eyes narrowed. Her patience had run out. She stepped forward—swift, silent—and raised her hand sharply, aiming two fingers straight for Yvonne’s eyes.
“Ah!” Yvonne shrieked, instinctively covering her eyes, fearing Christina might gouge them out. Her face turned even paler with fear.
