Chelsea asked, “What do we do now? If Shaun finds out Halsey’s pregnant, he’ll marry her on the spot!”
Gilbert’s face darkened. “You’ve been by his side all this time and didn’t even know about this? If I hadn’t accidentally stumbled across it, we’d already be out of the game!”
Chelsea turned pale. “This isn’t the time to point fingers. We need to figure something out fast. Halsey is pregnant with Shaun’s child!”
“Don’t panic yet. I don’t think he knows about the pregnancy,” Gilbert said.
If Shaun did, he would’ve done something about it already.
Chelsea nodded quickly. “Then we still have time. We need to get rid of that baby before Shaun finds out!”
Gilbert turned to look at her.
A wicked gleam flashed in Chelsea’s eyes. “Do you seriously want Halsey to give birth to that child?”
“Of course not,” Gilbert said coldly. “But Chelsea… You’re ruthless.”
She gave a chilling laugh. “If I weren’t ruthless, how would I be a worthy ally for you?”
Gilbert chuckled as well. “Then we need to act fast. While Shaun’s still in the dark, we have to get rid of that baby.”
Chelsea frowned. “But it’s obvious Halsey wants to keep it. She’s already on guard against both of us. How are we supposed to get close enough to make that happen?”
“That’s your part,” Gilbert said. “Find a way to get rid of the baby. And if possible, use it to drive a wedge between her and Shaun once and for all.”
Chelsea slowly calmed down, her mind already racing. She realized something-maybe this crisis was actually a golden opportunity. It all depended on how she used it.
Shaun and Halsey had clearly rekindled things between them. Nothing seemed able to separate them anymore. But now, with this pregnancy, there might just be a way.
Chelsea smirked.
Seeing her confident expression, Gilbert asked, “You’ve thought of something?”
“Of course. We’ll let someone else do the dirty work.”
Gilbert raised a brow. “Who?”
Chelsea smiled slyly. “We’ll use…”
At a restaurant, Chelsea sat at a booth waiting.
Soon, someone walked in, asking, “What made you suddenly invite me out to lunch?”
She looked up-it was Warren.
Warren sat across from her.
Chelsea already had it all planned out. She was going to use Warren.
Halsey wouldn’t fall for any of her or Gilbert’s tricks now-she was way too cautious. But Warren was different. Halsey still

Chelsea looked at Warren. “Did you hear Shaun got into a fight with Gilbert at the hospital today?”
Warren frowned. “Why would Shaun get into a fight with Gilbert? Was it because of Ms. Mallin again?”
Who else could possibly make someone as cold and controlled as Shaun lose it?
Chelsea nodded, and she twisted the knife further. “It was a terrible scene. Shaun’s been losing his head over her. I’m scared she’s going to ruin him. She’s already hurt him once before, and now she’s doing it again. She doesn’t love him at all.”
As she spoke, she closely watched Warren’s face.
Sure enough, anger flashed in his eyes. He clenched his fists, his tone bitter. “She’s really crossed a line!”
Chelsea leaned forward. “Would you be willing to help Shaun?”
