His hands soon started to wander , reaching for the hem of her dress .

Shaun’s expression was hidden in the dim light , unreadable . “ My face … It’s ruined . I know I’m ugly now . I’m sorry if I scared you . ”
Halsey’s heart clenched . She knew it bothered him . He used to be so incredibly handsome .
She didn’t respond , but sometimes silence says everything . Shaun gave a faint smile .
