Still, Julia didn’t rush, nor did she feel insecure.
What if Maggie was more beautiful?
It didn’t matter–Maggie’s outward appearance held no real appeal.
And Julia had more than just her appearance.
Julia calmly shifted her gaze away and looked at Franklin standing beside her.
Noticing that Franklin only glanced at Maggie before calmly shifting his gaze elsewhere, she couldn’t help but curl the corners of her lips into a faint smile.
When Franklin and Julia arrived, Harry’s gaze naturally landed on Maggie.
Seeing that Maggie didn’t even change her expression when she saw them, Harry smiled lightly and said, “I’ll go over there for a moment.â€
Maggie and Johnny nodded.
Harry walked over to Franklin and Julia, and they had exchanged a few words when Rex also arrived.
Upon seeing Julia, Rex instinctively walked toward her.
Julia saw him and smiled faintly. “President Hardin.â€
“Miss Brown.â€
Rex had been busy lately and hadn’t seen Julia for some time. Now that he saw her, a trace of admiration flashed in his eyes, and he couldn’t help but look at her a little longer before greeting Harry and Franklin.
Cole was now a very important partner for Hardin Group.
After talking briefly with Harry, Rex walked over to Johnny and took the initiative to greet him.
After exchanging pleasantries with Johnny, he then casually called out to Maggie, “Miss Brown.â€
Maggie smiled but didn’t respond verbally.
The invitation for the Cole party had already been sent out, but Hardin Group hadn’t received one.
He only learned about this fact tonight.
Since they hadn’t even bothered to send him the invitation for the Cole event, it was highly unlikely that they would attend Hardin Group’s party tomorrow either…
Thinking this, Rex frowned slightly.
Maggie and Johnny clearly had no intention of engaging with him.
Johnny directly said, “President Hardin,
some old friends. You take your time.â€
Rex knew perfectly well that they didn’t want to engage with him.
In fact, he really wanted to get along with Johnny.
But despite their long–time cooperation, Johnny had never given him any opportunity.
His dislike for Rex was so blatant that he didn’t even try to hide it.
Rex pursed his lips, feeling a little upset in his heart, but didn’t say anything. He simply watched them
walk away.
In the past two or three months, Cole had been attracting a lot of attention.
Whenever people saw Maggie and Julia, many would walk over to greet them.
Among them, of course, were several business partners that Cole had been working with recently.
Since Cole’s press conference, many of their collaborations had been handled by Maggie.
As a result, many of the business partners who had in–depth conversations with her knew just how strong her expertise was.
