Harry, seeing the closeness between Maggie and Old Mrs. Miller, quickly guessed her identity. He immediately became more respectful and said, “You must be Old Mrs. Miller, greetings.”
“Hello, Mr. Becker.” Old Mrs. Miller smiled.
When members of the Brown and Green families heard Harry say he was going to greet someone, they expected to meet some major figure.
They didn’t expect it to be Johnny and Maggic.

Seeing Harry being so courteous toward Maggie and Old Mrs. Miller, Old Mrs. Green’s eyes flickered, and
she turned to Levi, asking, “Davis, what’s going on over there?”
Levi replied, “Harry is in an important business partnership with Johnny. Maggie has a lot of influence at Cole now. Previously, Johnny had even planned to veto his cooperation with Harry because of Maggie.
For the sake of business, Harry had to put personal grudges aside and temporarily co–exist peacefully with Maggie.”
Old Mrs. Brown and Old Mrs. Green nodded in understanding.
They were aware of Cole’s business, as the Brown family had once considered collaborating with them. However, due to Maggie, that cooperation hadn’t worked out, so they naturally held some resentment
toward her.
Because of this, they didn’t think much of Harry’s respectfulness toward Maggie and Old Mrs. Miller
Tracy, holding Old Mrs. Green’s arm, whispered, “I didn’t expect Mr. Gray to be so attentive to Maggie.
Seeing how much Johnny valued Maggie, she couldn’t help but feel a little displeased.

She hadn’t wanted to come at first. She had no interest in the art exhibition. But since it had been a while since she’d seen Harry, and after learning that he would be attending, she decided to show up.
After greeting her family and Levi, she was about to ask whether Harry had arrived when she turned and saw Harry talking to Maggie not far away.

“Talking business?”

Sophia pressed her lips together, snorted, and tried to suppress her frustration, but her eyes glued to Harry and Maggie.
Maggie, dressed in a winter long dress, wasn’t overly dressed up but still caught the eye. Standing next to Harry, they seemed oddly well–matched.
Though Sophia knew nothing would come of this, she still felt a pang of discomfort in her heart.
She couldn’t help but tug at Levi’s sleeve, “Levi, what are they talking about? Why has it been so long?”
Sophia’s interest in Harry was hardly hidden. She knew Harry didn’t like girls like her–spoiled and little bossy. Moreover, Harry had clearly rejected her advances.
He chuckled, “It’s just socializing. That’s how it goes.”
“Then can’t they talk about business on a workday?”
Levi wasn’t keen on speaking with her much longer. He just wanted to go inside and have a cup of tea, But Harry still hadn’t returned.
At that moment, Franklin and Julia finally arrived.
He immediately waved to them, “Over here.”
Upon seeing them, Logan and the others immediately greeted them with smiles.
“Frank, Julie, you’re here?”
Franklin nodded and was about to speak when he noticed Maggie and Harry talking.
As the Brown and Green families watched him closely to see his reaction, Franklin quickly turned his gaze back to them and said, “I’m going over there to greet them.”
Old Mrs. Green and Sophia subtly reacted.

Julia smiled and said, “Old Mrs. Wilson and their family have a good relationship, so even after the divorce, he wouldn’t sever ties with them so easily.”

He nodded at Maggie.
Maggie turned her face away, ignoring him.
As Julia had said, he was only there to say hello, and after that, he planned to leave.
Before leaving, he looked toward Harry, silently asking if he wanted to leave with him.
Harry said to Old Mrs. Miller, Johnny, and the others, “I have some things to attend to, so I’ll leave now. We’ll talk next time.”
Johnny waved his hand dismissively.
Old Mrs. Miller nodded politely, “We’ll talk when you have time.”
Harry and Franklin turned and walked back to the Brown and Green families.
