Chapter 67
Hardwick’s POV
I glanced towards the door and frowned when I saw no one coming out. I loosened my tie as I
started to suffocate out of nowhere. Why is she not coming out? It has already been over 10
minutes since she went to the washroom. She should have been returned back by this time.
“Hardwick” I turned to focus on the voice. Savannah’s mom walked towards me with her husband
“Good Evening mom” I smiled.
“Evening my dear, this whole ceremony is so grand. I never thought there would be so much crowd
like this” she smirked.
“It’s a big day for Savannah so of course it has to be grand. I don’t want anything to lack on her
special day”
“How sweet” mom said dreamily “I knew my daughter will always be happy with you” she wiped the
corner of her eyes “I am so happy that after going through such hardships my daughter finally able
to live the life she deserves”
“You are getting emotional again” her husband handed her handkerchief and smiled “you can’t cry
like this tonight. Don’t forget it’s Savannah’s grand ceremony and if she saw you crying like this, will
she feel good?”
“I know, I am sorry” she chuckled, “thinking about all those things I suddenly flooded with my
emotions” she wiped her eyes with the handkerchief. I smiled at them then turned my eyes to look
at the door again
“You are looking for someone’s son?” Savannah’s dad asked.
“Savannah went to the washroom. She didn’t let me accompany her” I replied, frowning.
“Don’t worry, it’s just washroom” mom chuckled “she will be back soon”
Her words should be comforting but I don’t feel any comfort yet my heart is restless. Where is she?
“Everyone’s here” a cheerful voice sounded from afar. The happy face of Tanea appeared instantly
after the voice faded.
“Alpha Hardwick, Dark Forest is really beautiful. And the decoration for the ceremony has added a
new charm to this place and I must say Sav is really lucky one” Tanea praised.
“Thank you” I smiled
“Where is Sav?” Devak looked around.
“She went to the washroom,” mom replied.
I looked around and gestured to Luina who was attending the guests at the side. She nodded
understanding my gesture and walked towards the pack house.
“Sav went alone? I should have gone with her. I wanted to use the washroom too” Tanea pouted.
“You want to go?” Devak glanced at his mate while asking.
“I was feeling little uncomfortable at first so I thought to use washroom”
“Why didn’t you tell me earlier? I would have taken you” Devak frowned
“I am sorry, I thought it will go away”
“Tanea dear, are you fine?” Mom asked.
“I am fine mom, it’s common for me”
“If you are unwell then I can ask the pack doctor to check on your condition” I offered “she is an
obstetrician so you won’t have any problem regarding your health”
“I don’t want to trouble you Alpha Hardwick” Tanea smiled with embarrassment.
I shook my head “it’s fine, besides the pack doctor is attending Savannah too. And in this condition
you should not risk even a small thing”
“Hardwick is right dear. If you are uncomfortable then let the doctor check on you” mom also
insisted
“In that case then thank you Alpha” Tanea nodded.
“I will ask the doctor to check on you” I said and pulled out my phone and was about to call when
an anxious voice screamed.
“Master”
I turned around and saw Luina running towards me. Her face was pale and shocking. My heart
started to beat faster as anxiety started to grow its roots.
“What happened?”
“Master, Mistress….. She is not in the room. I checked her in your room but I saw it was a mess like
there’s some fight in the room. And there’s no sign of the Mistress in the whole mansion” Luina
replied hurriedly.
“What the fuck do you mean she is not here?” I growled. My jaw clenched. Anger started to boil in
my body.
“What the hell?” Devak cursed “where is my sister?”
“I don’t know Master but Mistress is definitely not here. I have checked every room of the mansion
personally but there’s not a trace of her. It’s like someone has kidnapped her” Luina lowered her
head.
“You are her personal maid. Why were you away from her?” I asked her.
“Mistress told me she don’t need me today”
“Just because she said? Did you forget what your job is?” I growled.
Luina fell on her knees “please have mercy Master. It was my mistake I should have been with
Mistress”
“Get your punishment in the East Side after this matter settled”
“Yes Master”
Ryan ran towards me with Jenny “What happened?”
“Savannah is kidnapped,” I told him.
“What? Fuck ..” he cursed.
“What will happen? Mistress is already weak because of her pregnancy” Jenny gasped as she looked
so worried “Ryan do something please” she shook his arm.
“Let me think first baby, calm down” he patted her shoulder.
“Who the fuck did this?” Devak growled “I swear I will chop off their head” , the veins in his forehead
almost popping out of his skin. Tanea holds his arm trying to calm him down.
“We can’t rush things now. You have to calm down first to find a rescue plan. And it could not
happen with an angry mind” Alpha Micah suggested.
“Yes, first of all we have to find who took her. My poor daughter, she’s already pregnant and if
something happens she could never forgive herself” mom said. Her eyes were dull and her face was
pale. Those happy faces turned into worry in a second.
“I know who did this” I clenched my fist. That fucker dared to do something like this. Looks like he is
tired of living his life.
“Who?” Devak glared.
“Who else? that fucker Avan of Bright Shine” Ryan griited his teeth.
“That bastard” Devak clenched his fist “he dared to touch my sister with his filthy hands”
“We should attack Bright Shine. How could a mere pack like them dared to kidnap our Mistress?”
Jenny said angrily.
“It won’t work” I shook my head “if Avan was planning then I don’t think he will take Savannah in
the pack house. He might have bring her to another place secretly”
“Then what should be done now?” Alpha Micah asked.
“Exterminate the Bright Shine Pack”
“What? ” Devak frowned “but you said it won’t work”
I nodded “of course I said that. But it does not mean I won’t avenge my mate. Since one of the
Bright Shine dared to commit the son, then the whole pack needed to pay for it. And as for
wherever Avan took my mate I will find him anyway but before that he need to pay for thinking of
kidnapping my mate with the life of his family first”
That bastard dared to touch my mate and now his ultimate doom has started. I will see how he gets
away from my clutch.
“Send the news to everywhere about my mate bring kidnapped”
Ryan nodded “got it” then he left hurriedly.
“When should we attack?” Devak asked.
I smirked “right now”
Savannah’s POV
I groaned as I felt my body stiff and numb. What happened? I forced my eyes to open and blinked.
My vision was blurred with darkness and my surroundings were silent as hell. I moved my body and
turned my head to the side. But all are dark. Where am 1? I remember before I lost my
consciousness that three men were inside the room. They came for me but who sent them?
Invading inside the Dark Forest security is not easy. I knew that Hardwick tripled the security to
prevent any outsider sneaking inside. Then how come there’s loopholes in the system and some
people came inside so easily? I sighed and rubbed my abdomen. I hope my baby is safe. No matter
what, I have to keep my baby and myself safe until Hardwick comes to rescue me. I have to keep
myself alive.
I know he will come, by this time I guess they already know about my kidnapping. It’s good that
there was an occasion. My family is also there in the Dark Forest and it added double power to
Hardwick. Hell, I was so happy for my crowning ceremony yet those bastards had to ruin everything.
They even used fucking used medicine to put me into unconscious state. Fuckers, of I was not
pregnant then I would have shown them the real me.
“Baby, don’t be afraid, momma is here. I will protect you” I mumbled rubbing my abdomen.
Who could have planned this kidnapping? Delaney? I shook my head. According to Hardwick, he
dealt with her personally so it’s impossible for Delaney to appear in this matter. So the remaining
persons are Daisy and Avan. But could Avan take such a risk? Even if he takes it, he couldn’t do it
without help. But as far as I know Master Alpha won’t allow him to do such a thing. Master Alpha
puts the pack above all and he will never risk helping his son planning to kidnap me when he knows
how dangerous the consequences could be.
So Daisy is left. I know this must have something to do with her. She always hated me and wanted
me to die. She blames me for whatever happened to her sister. So if anything happens to me she
will be the one who will be happy. Her heart will dance with satisfaction. So this matter is really
related to her. I shook my head. I couldn’t link this matter perfectly. I looked around. The place was
dark yet there was little light flickering from the closed glass window. This place is something I have
never seen before. I couldn’t even use the mind link. I don’t know how long I can survive here like

Hardwick’s POV
“They are ready,” Ryan informed. I nodded and walked out to see my members standing firmly.
“Bright Shine was really trying to go above everyone and kidnapped our Luna. So it’s our time to
show them who they are messing with” I shouted. They cheered loudly.
“Tonight we will invade Bright Shine. And before the sun set tomorrow there will be no Bright Shine
pack anymore”
The members cheered again.
Devak walked forward and said seriously “I will lead the group. Those fuckers dared to be so
shameless and now I am going to give them a good lesson”
I nodded “take care, don’t get hurt in the process. I don’t want your sister to accuse me for letting
you get hurt”
He laughed “just bring her back and that will be enough”
I nodded. He turned around and walked towards the group. Suddenly he glanced back and smiled
“Hardwick I trust you” then he left followed by the group.
I stood there watching him leave. A smile appeared on my face. Finally I am glad that he could trust
me with his sister.
“Alpha Devak is too serious,” Ryan said as he stood beside me.
“Where is she?”
“In the prison. Trying to sneak out of the pack”
I smirked “looks like some people think they are the only smart ones. Since she dared to harm my
mate, I will show her what hell is” I clenched my fist and walked towards the prison area.
“Avan really planned well. His sneak attack is really dangerous”
“Do you think he is alone? It’s all their plan to snatch my mate away from me” I growled “those
bastards, just let them fall in my hands. I will see where they can run”
“What about Daisy now?”
“I want to see how strong her wings have become” I clenched my jaw and turned around to walk
towards the prison.
Ryan opened the prison cell revealing Daisy who curled like a ball in the corner. Her head was down
and when she heard the door opening she looked up. Her eyes clouded with fear and her body was
shivering.
“Are you enjoying your time in prison?” I smirked as I walked in.
“Master…” Her body trembled as it collided on the cold floor. She dragged her body away from me.
“Are you scared Daisy?” I asked, looking at her coldly.
“You really had such a big courage, yet you are scared now?”
“Master …that…. I didn’t mean to” she stammered.
“Didn’t mean?” I laughed “you know that the thing I hate the most is lies, isn’t it?”
“Master please spare me” she threw her body on the floor.
“Spare? Before committing your sin you haven’t thought about it?”
“Master, I was angry. l….. Wanted to take revenge for my sister. My sister, she was wronged, they
plotted against her Master…. You have to understand”
“Understand?” I grabbed her jaw tightly, pulling her body up a little, pressing her jaw until she cried
out in pain.
“Who are you to harm my mate? Because of you, she had to suffer so much now. Have you ever
thought about it?” I shouted at her.
“You are talking about your sister? That slut of a sister of yours? Is she qualified enough to be
compared with my mate?”
Daisy’s eyes widened. I left her jaw harshly. She fell to the floor again and cried out in pain.
“You not only tried to harm my mate but the whole pack. Colliding with the enemy pack and
sending information to them. You betrayed your own pack for your own selfish need” I gritted my
teeth.
Daisy looked so shocked that her eyes were about to roll out.
“You know …..” Her voice trembled
“You are not the only one who is smart Daisy” Ryan said from the side. “You think whatever you are
doing is a secret and no one could find it out? Do you think we are such fools that won’t be able to
find simple loopholes in your plan and discover your original means?”
“Master….. I never told anything except about the deal. Please…… Please…. Trust me”
“You have lost the chance. You have lost all trust the moment you decided to bring my mate into
trouble. In the name of revenge you used all the dirty means and now want me to trust you? Do you
take me for a fool?” I growled.
“Master whatever I did was all for my sister” she cried out “she has been in love with you for many
years but you never gave her a chance. She was in pain and I have seen her cry, then you found your
mate and she tumbled Delayed from the chances to win you. In the end Delaney had to live a
miserable life. How can I tolerate it? ”
“Delaney was in the position of ending because of her own past actions. If you want to blame
anyone then bland your sister herself. If she was in her clear mind nothing would have happened to
her or many she would have been living a good life. For your sister’s own actions you can’t throw
the blame on others. You don’t have that right ” I gritted my teeth in anger. “Savannah is not the
sinner here, she is innocent and only loved me because I am her mate. We are destined and bonded
by pure love that no one can break”
“Delaney loved you too, why can’t you understand that?” Daisy shouted widening her eyes “she
fucking sacrificed for you yet you never took her seriously”
I laughed “Delaney sacrificed? What did she sacrifice? Her own body to trap me? *
“How could you say that? You don’t even have an ounce of respect-”
“Respect is earned not given ” I growled. “Your sister not only ruined her own self respect yet she
even tried to her wreck other’ life. For such a selfish person like her, do you think your cry for
injustice is justified enough?”
“You-” before she could utter I grabbed her jaw and pinched her hard. She cried out in pain causing
a piercing sound. I glared at her hard and under my gaze her body shook.
“Where is Savannah?” I asked, making her eyes go wide. I fucking don’t have time to waste on her.
