After leaving Adrian’s office, I returned to the car. Carol asked, “Are we going back to the company?”

I nodded. “Don’t worry. I know what I’m doing.”

I nodded to Carol and patted her arm. “Alright.”
I knew that everyone around me cared for me like family and expressed genuine concern from their hearts. I sat on the sofa with Myra and said seriously, “I came here to tell you something. I want to take Charlie back to the Reese family.”
