At last , they could stand tall and defend their home country,
They clapped while tears streamed down their faces.
They were crying from sheer joy!
In contrast, the Molvanians looked completely crushed.
It was like someone had seized them by the throat.
Just then, a sudden twist appeared on the big screen.
The virus had indeed been powerful. The other countries‘ representatives truly had no way of dealing with it.
But the moment it hit a Chanaean computer system, it just…stopped working.
It didn’t even try to keep going.
Seeing this scene, everyone in the hall was stunned.
They had heard of animals gaining intelligence on their own, but a computer virus growing a mind of its own? That was totally unheard of.
What on earth was going on?
Was this some sort of sci–fi movie?

“You all seem to have forgotten that three years ago, there was a major tech revolution in Molvania.
“Back then, a hacker breached their central government system.

As he spoke, Byron glanced briefly at Alice.
But he quickly looked away.
Alice had always preferred to stay out of the spotlight.
Unless she chose to reveal herself as the hacker in question, he wouldn’t dare expose her.
After a brief pause, he went on.
“While all of you are focused on preserving this virus, Chanaea has already been working on neutralizing
“Our researchers have made significant breakthroughs in recent years.
“That’s why your virus has no effect on us whatsoever. In fact …”

He deliberately stretched out the last word and looked toward Alice again.
Alice suddenly felt an overwhelming wave of secondhand embarrassment.
Still, with things having reached this point, she had no choice but to press the Enter key.
The screen burst into motion as countless lines of code began to scroll.
Each line glowed in its own distinct color.
For a moment, the screen turned into a blindingly colorful blur.
Byron immediately threw in a theatrical drumroll.
“From this moment on, all equipment in the venue will be under Ms. Spencer’s command!”
Alice gently raised her hand.
Suddenly, the computers from Malvonia started playing Chanaea’s national anthem..
Everyone in the hall was stunned.
She smiled ever so slightly.
Ruritania’s devices abruptly started blaring “Baby Shark“.

The Ruritanians looked absolutely mortified.
At the same time, the Heswilians‘ systems were taken over too, playing another children’s song.
The crowd burst into laughter.

The comment section of the livestream erupted in a flurry of gloating comments.
On–site, people were whispering nonstop.
Representatives from the other countries had been defeated so badly, they couldn’t even bear to stay.
They didn’t bother coming up with an excuse. They simply turned and left.
As for the Molvanians, all of them had been detained by the Nolan Group’s security team.
Since they had used an internationally banned virus without authorization , they were barred from leaving Chanaea for the time being.
What awaited them was the highest level of military trial. Whether they’d even be allowed to return to Molvania to serve prison time remained uncertain.
Their faces turned deathly pale upon hearing the news.
A few of the weaker–willed among them couldn’t take the pressure and fainted on the spot.
Alice remained calm, unfazed by their reactions.
She stretched lazily and said to Daniel, “Since everything is settled, shall we head back and get some rest ? *
