At that moment, Alice spoke up again.
“Honeysuckle patterns–while they’re commonly seen in Norvain Empire cave art across the country, they’re especially prominent in the Mogwyn Caverns,” she explained calmly.
“They’re simple and modest in form, yet full of life and variation. Often designed with three or four petal–shaped leaves,
create a clear and strikingir positioning–be it front–facing, upside down, or sideways
effect, kind of like papercraft or shadow theater.”
She pointed to the center of the fabric. “See this here? That’s the honeysuckle vine pattern”
Everyone leaned in for a closer look.
Alice remained composed, not a hint of nervousness;
She gave off a calming energy that even the reporters–normally eager to pick someone apart–quieted down, as if waiting for what she’d say next.
“This pattern is built from a single honeysuckle leaf as the base. Whether it’s part of a wave- like strand, a double–leaf vine, or a four–leaf border, the side view and structure are always clean and consistent.”
As she spoke, everyone started comparing the fabric to reference photos on their phones. One by one, lightbulbs went off.
“Oh, so this is a mix of traditional and modern.”
“Yeah, they incorporated modern elements into the honeysuckle design. It’s really a blend of old and new .”
“I can’t believe I’m actually starting to understand these complicated patterns.”

Linda was in disbelief.
She quickly pulled out her phone and looked up honeysuckle vine patterns.
Sure enough, just like Alice said , the pattern on the outfit was a textbook example of Norvain Empire honeysuckle vine pattern.

She nearly threw her phone out of frustration.
Alice was just a country girl, practically illiterate.
How could she possibly know all this?
Her eyes darted over to Eric.
She’d heard rumors that since returning to the Nolan Group, Eric had been biding his time, determined to reclaim his former position.

She guessed he had fed Alice the design elements.
That scheming woman had used them against her!
Meanwhile, Halsey looked bitter.
The theme of this design showcase was all about fusion of ancient and modern.
He had just torn into this design for not having any historical elements.
He’d never expected to be proven so wrong and so quickly.
And deep down, he was also impressed.
If they’d only used old–fashioned patterns, people probably wouldn’t connect or want to wear the designs.
But the modern twist added a stylish edge that made them more wearable.
Now, the more he looked at them, the more he liked them.
Just when he was already choking on his own words, Alice had to rub salt in his wounds.
“Mr. Hawkin, I’ve said all I needed to say. So, who do you think will win this round?”
His heart nearly exploded, but he forced himself to stay calm.
He’d looked down on her and now she’d flipped the table on him. Fair.
He took a deep breath and turned his attention to the other outfits.
He couldn’t immediately identify the motifs, but he could tell that they were all incredible.

If he had just been more diplomatic and respectful earlier, maybe Alice would’ve given him a little grace.
But now? He was stuck in between. He couldn’t apologize nor walk
away.

When the camera zoomed in on Linda’s twisted, bitter expression, the livestream chat exploded with backlash .
People were unfollowing her in droves.
Then the camera panned to Eric. Audiences felt sorry for him–if only he could still walk.
The camera landed back on Alice, who picked up a second outfit. “Mr. Hawkin, would you like to take a look at this one too?”
This time, Halsey didn’t dare brush her off. He examined it closely.
These patterns might be from the Kingdom of Tavereon era.
He was amazed once again.
Alice caught the change in his vession and smirked.
She’d thought he was all bark and no bite, but maybe he had some real skill after all.
What a shame.
His obsession with reputation made him unfit for real artistry.
She used to wonder why his paintings always lacked a certain soul.
Now she knew. It’s because he cared more about his reputation than his art.
He wasn’t cut out to be a true mentor.

One of the reporters, familiar with the big names , pointed out the figure in the crowd.
